When I was 9 years old I went to Moti Lal Nehru a School of Sports, I used to play and competed on national level, in a lot of different sports.
Some of these included Cricket, Hockey, Swimming, athletics. I totally enjoy sports.
I then put two and two together and realised how nutrition plays a big role on fitness levels and a healthy lifestyle.
Once I finished my schooling I went to Mumbai to study nutrition, and becoming a chef to make healthy food choices, this brought me to New Zealand I wanted to continue my study expand my knowledge on this subject.
I landed a job working for one of the best celebrity chef in NZ Al Brown. I learnt the importance of fresh produce and vegetables and how to cook with them.
While I was working as a chef my passion for fitness and encouraging people to take up a healthy lifestyle was growing stronger, I decided to study Personal Training, which brings me to where I am now.
I studied in Auckland I have National Certificate in Personal Training Level 5.
I believe fitness and healthy eating options, isn’t a trend, it is a change of lifestyle, and should be all year round.
Small changes can make a big difference. Finding that healthy alternative, portion control. Its not a diet, its a lifestyle. Adding exercise will reduce heart disease, joint problems, mobility issues and it will improve quality of life. We should be able to play with our children and grandchildren.
